I want...

A Staffy!
Yesterday when I was walking home, this little black staffy ran out of a yard and followed me, she'd keep running in front of me and turning around to make sure I was still walking her way.
Everytime she'd go the opposite way she'd look back see me and run towards me. We reached my house and she just came in the yard, walked up the stairs and stood there, luckily she had a name and number on her collar. Her name was Bella (I wonder if it's a Twilight reference?)
Her number was called and her owner came to pick her up. When the owner was walking around the corner, I turned Bella's head and said "Is that your mum?" and she ran up to the lady and jumped all over her.
She really was a lovely, fun, happy dog, she kept giving me dog kisses!

The Ultimate girl crush!

So I have the ultimate girl crush on this fantastic, talented, amazing woman.
Her name is Brody Dalle...



You may remember her as the singer of punk band The Distillers, well now she's in a just as amazing band called Spinnerette. I was lucky enough to see them play on Thursday night and i'm still on a high from it. They were great. Probably the best show i've ever seen.
So today i'm telling everyone about my undying love for Brody Dalle.


Her style has changed a lot over the last 10 years. From a really punk look she had when she was in The Distillers...



Through the dimise of The Distillers, her marriage to Tim Armstrong (she married while still in her teens) ending, to getting married again (this time to Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age), having a child and starting Spinnerette.







If you haven't heard anything but Spinnerette, please check them out. They are a really great band.
