Last week we had 4 broken windows at work, 5 in the past month. 4 in a week is a little too much, especially when the insurance only covers a percentage so my boss was out to catch the culprits!
Her husband actually slept in the shop Friday, Saturday and Sunday night... Funny because I believe he is a 60 something year old man, if it was some awful big gang of men he was likely to get beat the shit out of. He set up a blow up mattress and blankets out the back and 3am Sunday morning heard the sound of window getting smashed so he raced out into the carpark, no shoes, just pants. Four 14 year old GIRLS were standing there with a big rock, one insisted she "didn't do it THIS TIME" (this time, what? so she did it last time?), one said "silly old man go put some shoes on", the bosses husband asked them why they were doing it their answer was they are angry.
Funny this is they didn't try to run, they sat at the bus stop across the road til the police came, mind you the police has already spoke to them twice that same night.
What are 14 year old girls doing out at 3am in the morning? wondering streets. I'd be a little worried if I was that young about getting bashed, raped, murdered, especially considering what goes on in this suburb.
Where are kids parents these days?
